Turtle Sock Hand Puppets

• Walnut turtle silhouettes
• Old sock (green, brown or black)
• Crayons, markers, glue, scissors, construction paper or adhesive fake earrings, clear adhesive tape

Enlarge walnut turtle silhouettes and trace onto green construction paper. Make a yellow oval for plastron and carapace onto sock. Toe of sock faces plastron side.

For eyes, cut out and glue on construction paper circles or use adhesive fake earrings. For Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles color a 5" long strip of clear tape as a mask and fasten around sock, 2" inches from top.
