Changes in Ice Concentration

The amount of sea ice surrounding Antarctica varies on a seasonal basis depending on the amount of sunlight reaching the continent. The animation below shows the change in ice cover around Antarctica during 1991. After watching the seasonal variation, use NIH Image to calculate the following:
